Games of the Week (11/7/2009)

Here are some the key games of the weekend:

12:00 PM ET UCF at No. 2 Texas
12:00 PM ET Northwestern at No. 4 Iowa
12:00 PM ET Syracuse at No. 13 Pittsburgh
12:00 PM ET Virginia at No. 17 Miami (FL)
2:30 PM ET Navy at No. 22 Notre Dame
3:30 PM ET No. 9 LSU at No. 3 Alabama
3:30 PM ET No. 8 Oregon at Stanford
3:30 PM ET Wake Forest at No. 10 Georgia Tech
3:30 PM ET No. 16 Ohio State at No. 11 Penn State
3:30 PM ET Duke at North Carolina
4:00 PM ET No. 6 TCU at San Diego State
7:15 PM ET Vanderbilt at No. 1 Florida
7:45 PM ET Florida State at Clemson
8:00 PM ET No. 12 USC at Arizona State

Texas should roll. Is anyone giving Northwestern a shot against Iowa? The Hawkeyes might be looking past the boys from Evanston. Pitt should be fine. Look for Miami to keep it up against VA.

I don't think Notre Dame will have a problem with Navy. The big game of the day is LSU at BAMA. What a matchup. Saban with a week off should pick LSU apart. LSU has their destiny in their hands. Can't wait to see this one shake out. Hopefully the officials will stay out of the way and let the boys play ball. Oregon will continue decimating opponents - too bad they didn't have things figured out as the season started. GA Tech has its eyes set on the ACC title game in Charlotte this year. No one is going to get in the way of keeping them out. Beaver Stadium will be rocking for the big showdown with the Buckeyes. Don't look now, but Duke is playing for a bowl game. Hats off to Coach Cutcliff. He's doing a great job.

TCU should roll. Florida will not miss Brandon Spikes in the first half. He should sit out the whole game, but a half while not completely adequate will suffice. What's the over under on CJ Spiller's all purpose yards this Saturday against FSU's lackluster defense. I say 285. He's going to light it up and really make a case for Heisman. Southern Cal looks to bounce back from getting their back broken by the Ducks last weekend.
