COLLEGE FOOTBALL'S MOST DISAPPOINTING LIST FOR 2011

There seems to be a plethora of bad news circling in and around college football these days. Maybe it has always been this way.  Maybe social media and the impact of everyone being connected to the internet is helping information come to the surface much more prevalently and quickly. Either way, there are some notable figures and programs that make the 2011 COLLEGE FOOTBALL MOST DISAPPOINTING LIST:

  • Ohio State’s Top Brass: Former Head Coach, Jim Tressel, Athletic Director, Gene Smith, and University President, Gordon Gee
  • Oregon’s Head Coach, Chip Kelly
  • Willie Lyles
  • Oregon’s Cliff Harris
  • Georgia Tech
  • Georgia Running Backs: Caleb King (former), Washaun Ealey (former), and Carlton Thomas
  • Southern Cal Running Back, Marc Tyler
  • Arkansas Offensive Linemen: Dominic Petrino and Anthony Oden (former)
  • South Carolina’s QB, Stephen Garcia

Being on this list does not mean you cannot work yourself out of it. Players, coaches, and programs can certainly earn a de-listing, but getting on this list is clearly not good. Life is short. Do better.
